Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share gospel-centered education with students in a classroom setting. Ideal candidates are active church participants with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a caring approach to teaching children.

Responsibilities include training completion, lesson planning using LifeWise curricula, maintaining accurate records, and engaging with students, volunteers, and school staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise’s beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters, coordinate with school officials as needed.
• Keep a clean, organized classroom and manage emergency procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director, and promote LifeWise’s mission.
