Job summary

Ashley Furniture in Nashua, NH is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to support customers in person and over the phone. You will help ensure orders are entered accurately and deliveries coordinated, while working closely with the sales and office teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The position requires strong people skills, solid computer abilities (Outlook/Word/Excel), cash handling, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders accurately and completely into the company system.
• Process customer payments and ensure transactions are applied to the proper accounts.
• Handle cash and other forms of payment in accordance with company policies.
• Prepare daily deposits following company procedures.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer questions professionally and promptly.
• Schedule customer deliveries accurately and conveniently.
• Maintain open orders and communicate order and delivery updates to customers.
• Research and resolve customer questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Complete daily reports and required office tasks.
• Support showroom operations, including displays, tagging, and maintaining a customer-friendly environment.
• Work closely with sales and office team members to support an exceptional customer experience.
• Assist the Office Manager with additional responsibilities as needed.
