The Houston Grand Hotel - River Oaks, part of HEI Hotels and Resorts, seeks a Front Office Agent to assist guests with arrival and departure and provide exceptional service on-site in Houston, TX. Qualifications

Hotel experience preferred.
Ability to input and retrieve information in a computer system.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to stand and move around the front office.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a friendly, sincere welcome and assist with arrival/departure.
Complete registration, input data, verify guest details and room rate.
Handle cash, vouchers, currency exchange, and balance a house bank.
Answer phones promptly and relay messages; coordinate guest requests.
Resolve guest concerns and negotiate solutions to ensure satisfaction.
Input information accurately into the computer system and manage mail/packages.
Maintain calm, attentive service during busy periods and emergencies.
