Job summary

RTI International is seeking self-motivated Part-Time Field Interviewers to support the National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG). You will travel to selected locations, recruit participants, and administer screening interviews using a project tablet.

This role offers flexible scheduling and a part-time commitment. You will work about 20 hours weekly, including evenings and weekends, with training provided and data collected through 2029.

Qualifications

• Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
• Effective communication skills through speech and listening.
• Fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking.
• Able to work training and data collection period.
• Valid US driver's license and reliable automobile for business use.
• Comfortable using RTI issued tablet and laptop.
• Confidential handling of project information.
• Willingness to work ~20 hours/week including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Travel frequently to selected locations to recruit study participants.
• Locate dwelling units, identify eligible adults, and screen for interviews.
• Interact with households without a prior appointment.
• Administer screening interviews and recruit respondents for longer interviews if selected.
• Transmit data as scheduled and maintain project equipment securely.
• Attend scheduled team meetings and complete trainings.
