Job summary

RTI International is seeking self-motivated Field Interviewers for the National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG). This part-time role involves travel to selected locations, screening households, and conducting in-person interviews using a project tablet.

The position requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and to manage confidential information securely. You will support a long-standing government-sponsored study, with training and remote coordination, while maintaining independent

Qualifications

• Must possess High School Diploma or GED
• Effective communication through speech and listening
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Available for entire training and data collection period
• Must have a valid US driver's license for business use
• Comfortable using RTI issued tablet and laptop
• Access to Wi-Fi for data transmissions and admin tasks
• Able to keep project information confidential
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and variable schedule
• Able to work in various weather conditions and unfamiliar areas

Responsibilities

• Travel to locations to recruit study participants
• Screen and recruit respondents for NSFG interviews
• Conduct in-person interviews using project tablet
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of data
• Attend trainings and complete online modules
• Submit Time & Expense reports as required
• Interact with households without prior appointments
• Meet weekly with supervisor via Zoom
