Job summary

RTI International seeks part-time Field Interviewers to support the National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG). You will recruit participants, conduct screening and in-person interviews, and manage data transmission and project equipment with confidentiality.

The role involves travel, evening/weekend hours, and using a company tablet and laptop. Ideal candidates are self-motivated with strong communication skills, fluent English, and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to listen.
• Fluent in English in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Valid US driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Travel to selected locations to recruit study participants.
• Locate dwellings, identify eligible adults, and screen participants.
• Administer screening interview and recruit for longer interviews if selected.
• Interact with households without prior appointments.
• Conduct in-person NSFG interviews and collect confidential data.
• Complete online trainings and participate in conference calls.
• Transmit data on schedule and manage project equipment responsibly.
• Attend meetings via Zoom and maintain home Wi‑Fi access for work.
