RTI International is seeking part-time Field Interviewers to support the National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG). The role involves in-person household visits, screening interviews, and recruiting respondents for longer interviews, using a project-provided tablet.

You will work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, with travel within the region. The job requires standing, walking, and occasional stairs while transporting equipment.

Formación

• Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
• Effective communication skills through speech and listening.
• Fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking.
• Available for entire training and data collection period.
• Able to successfully complete training.
• Must have a valid US driver's license and reliable personal automobile available for business use.
• Comfortable using RTI issued tablet, laptop and other associated equipment.
• Access to password-protected Wi‑Fi connection for data transmissions and administrative responsibilities.
• Able to keep project information confidential.
• Willingness to work in various types of weather conditions and after dark.
• Must be comfortable asking survey questions on personally sensitive subject matters.
• Must be willing to work approximately 20 hours a week, including weekends and weekday evenings, on a regular basis with occasional weekday daytime hours.
• Must be comfortable working in unfamiliar areas.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to selected locations to recruit study participants.
• Locate dwelling units, identify eligible adults, and administer screening interviews.
• Recruit respondents for longer main interviews when selected.
• Interact with respondents and obtain participation in private settings.
• Transmit data as scheduled and complete Time & Expense reports.
• Attend scheduled project meetings virtually and maintain a reliable home internet connection.
