Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share the gospel and deliver LifeWise classes in a school setting. The role requires 2+ years of classroom teaching, a mature Christian faith, and active church involvement in alignment with LifeWise beliefs. Training and ongoing participation in LifeWise events are expected.

The teacher will implement LifeWise curriculum, build relationships with students, and maintain records while promoting LifeWise’s mission within the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience with students in a school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and customize as needed.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters; prepare materials for substitutes.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage safety procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and program director; share updates and photos.
