Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms. The ideal candidate will combine Bible knowledge with strong teaching and communication skills, and be an active participant in a local church aligned with our Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities include training, teaching LifeWise classes, maintaining attendance records, keeping a well-ordered classroom, and engaging with school staff and volunteers to support student well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience with students in a school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes using the curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Invest in students by building relationships and praying for them.
• Create an organized, engaging classroom environment with redemptive discipline.
• Take attendance and maintain class rosters and permissions as noted.
• Communicate with school staff, volunteers, and program director to stay aligned.
