Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms with an emphasis on clear communication and compassionate instruction. The ideal candidate participates actively in a local church and aligns with LifeWise’s beliefs.

You will complete LifeWise training, implement the curriculum in the classroom, maintain accurate records and collaborate with staff, volunteers, and families to foster a supportive, faith-based learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with our Statement of Faith.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training including LifeWise Teacher Certification.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance records, rosters, health notes and permissions as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and engaging classroom and communicate with school staff and volunteers.
