Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share Bible knowledge and the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting. The role requires active church involvement and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise values.

Your responsibilities include completing training, delivering LifeWise curriculum, maintaining attendance and records, and communicating with school staff and volunteers to support student wellbeing and program goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Maintain attendance, class rosters, health notes and permissions; prepare substitute materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage safety procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers and the program director; share updates and stories.
