Job summary

DSW Shoe Warehouse, Inc. is seeking a store associate to support store management in driving sales and ensuring a superior customer experience.

The role emphasizes in-store customer interactions, inventory accuracy, omni-channel activities, and cashwrap efficiency while upholding company standards. You will partner with the management team on daily priorities, maintain store cleanliness, assist with audits and operations, and help execute bold, energetic service aligned with We Love What We Do

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' workforce experience.
Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Model Customer Experience Leader (CEL) behaviors and redirect associate actions to meet store goals and KPI.
Maintain store standards; complete daily open/close tasks including cleaning, recovery and maintenance.
Plan and execute daily tasks; review daily communication and follow through with required actions.
Communicate daily progress and update on-store activities to leadership.
Complete processes related to audits, donations, transfers, mismates, damages, etc.
Assist management with omni activities in store including Charge/Send and Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS).
Ensure a safe environment for customers and associates; report equipment issues to Store Manager.
Provide feedback to Store Manager on associate performance and address concerns.
Train and coach associates; perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or leaders.
