Job summary

Amentum is seeking a part-time Biometric Technician to support USCIS Application Support Center operations in Memphis, TN, performing biometric registrations and front-line customer service.

The role requires English proficiency, ability to stand, and completion of biometrics training within 60 days; compensation is $17.75 per hour under SCA with benefits.

This position offers a fixed schedule, typically 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with potential schedule adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required and US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Successful completion of the biometrics training and become certified within sixty days.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration.
• Ensure all who enter the ASC are approved applicants and visitors while providing crowd control and enforcing policies.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the U.S. Government.
• Perform quality biometrics processing including fingerprints, photographs, and signatures.
