Amentum is seeking a Biometric Technician to support USCIS ASC operations in Baltimore, MD. This on-call position requires availability five days a week, with hours from 7:45am to 4:15pm, as needed.

The role emphasizes biometric data capture, crowd control, and frontline customer service for applicants. Qualifying candidates must have a high school diploma, be able to obtain facility credentials, speak/write English, and complete biometrics training within sixty days.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. US Citizenship is required for credential at this site.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand for scheduled shift duration.
• Ability to take fingerprints accurately.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment with the public.
• Successful completion of biometrics training within sixty days.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
• Ensure only approved applicants enter the ASC and assist with crowd control.
• Provide front-line customer service as a representative of Amentum and the U.S. Government.
• Perform biometrics processing (fingerprints, photographs, signatures) within processing times.
• Screen applicants for valid appointments and identification.
• Utilize barriers to maintain safe, organized facility entry.
• Inspect applicants and belongings prior to entry; manage health/crisis screening as required.
• Maintain administrative paperwork such as processing time tracking and visitor logs.
