Job summary

Amentum is seeking a part-time Biometric Technician in Salt Lake City, UT to support USCIS ASC operations. You will process biometrics registrations, perform quality fingerprint capture, and help ensure a respectful, safe entry for applicants.

Responsibilities emphasize front-line customer service, adherence to privacy, and assisting in crowd management while maintaining security and accuracy in biometrics processing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization; US Citizenship required for credentials at this location.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand upright for shift duration.
• Ability to hold and grasp applicants' hands for fingerprints.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment with the public.
• Ability to type and use basic computer skills.
• Successful completion of biometrics training and certification within sixty days.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the US Government.
• Provide crowd control and enforce ASC rules and policies.
• Screen applicants entering the facility to ensure valid appointment notices and IDs.
• Maintain visitor control logs and complete administrative paperwork as needed.
