Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run daily theatre operations and ensure policy adherence. You will be cross-trained across departments and play a key role in training staff within Cinemark’s framework.

The position supports the General Manager and can lead to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program and six months of service. Flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core) within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with staff.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assists in the preparation of administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Observes and participates in the inspection of the theatre building, parking lot, landscaping, and equipment.
• Reports the need for repairs to General Manager.
• Ensures Team Members follow the dress code and provide superior customer service.
• Interacts with Guests for improved service and resolves issues promptly.
• Learns and follows Cinemark’s Guidelines and reports Employee relations issues as required.
