Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run daily theatre operations and ensure high standards of service. You will support the General Manager, cross-train across departments, coach team members, and participate in reporting and safety oversight.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma or GED, and completion of Cinemark’s MAP Core program. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core) within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the overall operation of the theatre and follow Cinemark policies.
• Cross-train in all departments and train team members.
• Support the General Manager and communicate with staff.
• Ensure guest service is superior and dress code is followed.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspect theatre, property, and equipment and report repairs.
• Identify safety issues and enforce safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
