Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run the theatre operations, ensuring adherence to policies and high customer service standards.

You will work across departments, train Team Members, and support the General Manager in daily tasks and reporting. You’ll participate in the Management Accreditation Program and may advance to Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager, or General Manager after minimum tenure and completion of required courses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Completion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core).
• Completes basic food handling training and any local/state certifications where required.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must have excellent guest service and cash handling abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows General Manager direction and supports decisions.
• Trains and coaches team members in their duties.
• Works in all departments and theatre functions as needed.
• Participates in administrative and special reporting.
• Ensures compliance with Cinemark guidelines and safety procedures.
• Maintains customer service excellence and professional appearance.
• Reports employee relations issues to the General Manager.
