Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee theatre operations, ensure policy adherence, and uphold service standards. You will be cross-trained across all departments to support operations and training initiatives.

The role offers growth from Assistant to Senior Assistant Manager and beyond after completing Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program and six months in position. Flexible hours and team leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of three basic courses within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program.
• Completes basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification.
• Management members who work with alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance required.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service and cash handling.
• Ability to train and lead others and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with staff.
• Works in all departments and theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Observes theatre condition and reports needed repairs.
• Ensures staff follow dress code and provide superior customer service.
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines with fair conduct.
• Reports employee relations issues to the General Manager.
• Maintains high work ethic and conduct standards.
• Identifies and sanitizes high-contact areas; uses PPE appropriately.
• Adapts to cleaning frequency and scope; addresses safety issues.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
