Hot Topic, Inc. in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 to support the store leadership team, delivering an exceptional shopping experience so fans can find the merch they love. You’ll train new recruits and help meet sales goals while maintaining a positive store atmosphere.

You’ll also open/close the store, manage cash handling, lead on-floor operations, and communicate trends to management. Minimum 1 year in retail and a high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stock merch.

Responsabilités

• Provide an amazing shopping experience to encourage customers to return.
• Cover the sales floor and provide leadership support when the Manager is away.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales via programs like BOPIS.
• Understand store KPIs and assist with planogram changes.
• Keep the stock room organized and the store tidy.
• Develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team.
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ.
• Prevent misuse of spells and wizardry around theft.
