Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 who will support the store leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will train new recruits, help meet sales targets, and ensure fans can access the merchandise they love.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail store experience.
• Strong communication and time-management abilities.
• Professionalism and ability to manage store operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide a great shopping experience to encourage return visits and showcase product knowledge.
• Step in on the sales floor and support the Store Manager when needed.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Process sales transactions and promote add-on sales and services (e.g., BOPIS, curbside).
• Understand store sales plans, goals, and KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram changes including store maps and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stockroom organization.
• Develop a collaborative, passionate team to run the store.
