Hot Topic is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 in Mission Viejo, CA to support the store leadership team and deliver a premier customer experience for fans of music and pop culture.

You’ll train new recruits, help meet sales targets, open/close the store, and drive operations on the floor while keeping stock organized and the team motivated. This role blends leadership with hands-on retail duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience to encourage repeat visits.
• Cover the sales floor and support store leadership when needed.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Process sales and drive add-on sales with programs like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Understand store sales plan and KPIs (UPT, ADT).
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising.
