Job summary

Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 in California. You will support the store leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience, train new recruits, and help the team meet sales goals.

You’ll lead on the sales floor, assist with opening/closing, and manage transactions while leveraging fandom knowledge to maximize add-on sales and maintain store standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, operations.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience and boost customer loyalty.
• Step in and provide leadership on the sales floor when needed.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales with store programs like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Understand store sales plans, goals, and KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising layouts.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Support stockroom organization and store cleanliness.
• Help develop a collaborative, high-energy team to run the store.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Store Leader.
