Job summary

Arc Experience in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator for after-school programs. You will work directly with students and school staff, helping develop lesson plans, track attendance, and ensure grant compliance while supporting leadership growth within the organization.

The role is part-time, non-exempt, with morning and afternoon shifts and a focus on safety, engagement, and program management. English-Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in after-school programs or youth recreation, esp. in diverse communities
• Good communicator with kids and parents
• TB test and Live Scan background check completed
• Bilingual English-Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Coordinator as second contact for parents and administrators
• Oversee safety and well-being of students during after-school activities
• Establish and enforce rules to promote positive behavior
• Coordinate and lead indoor and outdoor enrichment activities
• Attend trainings and staff meetings on childcare, safety, and program management
• Create clubs and organize activities including homework help, arts and crafts, and games
• Track attendance and ensure accurate sign-ups and attendance
