Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator for a Los Angeles school site. This part-time role supports students before and after school, helps with attendance, safety, and program management, and develops engaging clubs.

You will work with a school administration team to implement lesson plans and enrichment activities while gaining leadership experience within Arc Experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Strong communication skills with both kids and parents.
• College credits: 48+ units or pass proficiency exam.
• TB test with negative result and Live Scan background check.
• Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Coordinator as second point of contact for parents and administrators.
• Oversee safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
• Establish rules to promote positive behavior.
• Coordinate and lead indoor/outdoor enrichment activities.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings on childcare, safety, and program mgmt.
• Handle sign-up procedures for attendance.
• Create and run clubs such as career readiness, cooking, anime, and dance.
• Organize activities including homework help, games, arts/crafts, and projects.
