Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator to support after-school programs serving youth in Southern California. This role combines leadership and administrative duties, including developing lesson plans, tracking attendance, and ensuring grant compliance.

The position involves direct interaction with students, coordination with school staff, and organizing a range of clubs such as career readiness, cooking, anime, and dance. The role is part-time and non-exempt.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Strong communication with kids and parents.
• TB test and Live Scan background check.
• Covid-19 vaccination proof if required by the school.
• English-Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Coordinator by acting as the second point of contact for parents and administrators.
• Oversee safety and wellbeing of students during after-school activities.
• Establish and enforce rules to promote positive behavior.
• Coordinate and lead indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings on best practices.
