Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator for its after-school programs across Southern California. You will grow leadership skills, prepare lesson plans, track attendance, and ensure grant compliance while working with students and school staff.

The role emphasizes safety, positive behavior, and collaboration with administrators. Bilingual abilities and a commitment to community impact are valued.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation, especially in ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
• Be a good communicator and talk to both kids and parents comfortably.
• College transcripts showing 48+ college credit units or pass an academic proficiency exam.
• Must pass TB test and Live Scan background check.
• English-Spanish bilingual applicants have an edge.
• Covid-19 vaccination documentation may be required by the school.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Coordinator as the second point of contact for parents and administrators.
• Oversee safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
• Establish and enforce rules to promote positive behavior.
• Coordinate and be involved in enrichment activities indoors and outdoors.
• Organize and lead activities including homework help, crafts, games, and clubs.
