Job summary

Right At School is hiring an Educator in New Jersey to lead before/after school programs. The role focuses on safe, engaging activities and fostering a love of learning.

Hourly pay ranges from $17 to $20, based on education and experience, with Monday through Friday split shifts (7:00–9:05 AM and 3:30–6:00 PM), and up to 23.42 hours per week. The Educator will organize activities, model positive guidance, ensure safety, and communicate with children, families, staff, and school personnel while

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Must meet New Jersey state requirements (First Aid/ CPR in person, TB test, MMR).
• 18+ years of age; High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Review daily goals and updates in team meetings; share ideas and progress.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives.
• Model positive guidance and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
• Monitor safety, address hazards, document attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
