Right At School is seeking an Educator to support our before/after school programs in New Jersey. This role focuses on safe, engaging activities and age-appropriate curriculum to inspire a love of learning after the school day ends.

The Educator position offers a pay rate of $17.00–$20.00 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM, and up to 15 hours per week. Join a mission-driven team dedicated to student success and family peace of mind.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals and updates, share ideas, discuss progress, encourage collaboration, and team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: prepare activities and curriculum, align with program objectives, lead structured daily fitness and educational activities.
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment, model positive guidance and classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor environment, address hazards, follow safety protocols, document attendance and incidents.
• Communication: effectively communicate with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
