Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator in New Jersey to support before/after school programs. The role involves organizing daily activities, maintaining a safe and engaging environment, and collaborating with families and school staff to meet program goals.

Shifts run mornings and afternoons (7:00–10:00 and 2:00–6:00) with a schedule up to 35 hours per week. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and healthy living.
• NJ state requirements: First Aid and CPR in-person; TB test; MMR; 18+; High school diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Daily program meetings to review goals and progress.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities aligned with program objectives.
• Lead by example with a safe, nurturing environment.
• Prioritize safety and joy; document attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
