Right At School in New Jersey is seeking an Educator to support before/after school programs, delivering engaging activities aligned with learning goals and a safe, nurturing environment.

You will lead daily activities, manage classroom routines, and communicate with families and school staff. Eligibility includes NJ state requirements; hours are morning and afternoon split shifts, up to 22.92 hours weekly, with a pay rate of $16–$19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as part of daily activities.
• Meet New Jersey state requirements including First Aid/CPR, TB test, MMR, and age 18+.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates in daily program meetings; promote teamwork.
• Organize and lead activities and curriculum aligned to objectives.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and model positive guidance.
• Monitor safety, document attendance and incidents per protocols.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and school personnel.
