Job summary

Right At School in New Jersey is seeking an Educator to support before- and after-school programs. The role focuses on safe, engaging activities, daily curriculum, and fostering a love of learning while partnering with schools and families.

Pay rate ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on education and experience. Program hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00–8:45am and 2:50–6:00pm, with opportunities to contribute to additional local programs and promotions of healthy living.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, share ideas, discuss progress and accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: plan curriculum and lead engaging activities.
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment and guidance.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor environment and follow safety protocols.
• Communication: engage with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
