Job summary

Right At School offers local school districts before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. This Educator role emphasizes inspiring a love of learning and safeguarding children in a supportive environment.

The position is part-time with shifts 7:00–8:25 AM and 2:50–6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, for up to 22.92 hours weekly in New Jersey. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children under 13 preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Meet state-specific requirements (NJ) for school-based programs.
• First Aid and CPR in-person required.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Review daily goals and progress in program meetings.
• Prepare activities and curriculum aligned with objectives.
• Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and educational experiences.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and model positive guidance.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
