Job summary

Right At School in New Jersey is seeking an Educator to support our before/after school programs, delivering engaging activities and enrichment to students. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and fostering a love of learning in a dynamic school setting.

The position offers an Educator pay rate of $16.00-$18.00 per hour based on education and experience, with hours Monday-Friday 7:00am to 9:00am and 3:30pm to 6:00pm, in local schools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Must meet New Jersey state requirements.
• Proof of High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Review daily goals and updates in program meetings.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities aligned to objectives.
• Lead by example with a safe, nurturing environment and classroom management.
• Monitor safety, attendance and incidents, following protocols.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
