Job summary

Carowinds is seeking an experienced Management-level professional to oversee the operation of our retail departments, including merchandise and games, across multiple locations. You will supervise seasonal managers and associates, drive sales, monitor inventories and adapt to guest needs to ensure exceptional service and presentation.

You will lead planning, scheduling and execution while maintaining high standards, directing pricing, promotions and risk controls to achieve financial goals.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years related experience in large scale retail operations management.
• Amusement park or similar operational experience is preferred.
• Ability to pass drug and background checks as per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Manages planning, coordinating and implementing retail operations across the Park.
• Supervises seasonal staff, including scheduling, coaching and promotions decisions.
• Develops, implements and evaluates quality assurance measures for displays and merchandising.
• Maintains highest retail standards, coordinates product programs and merchandising at locations.
• Assists with pricing strategies, budgeting and labor revenue to meet financial goals.
• Communicates with Park managers and staff to review performance and plan future strategy.
• Ensures compliance with Park policies, safety, appearance and EEO standards.
