Carowinds is seeking a Management-level Retail Operations professional to oversee merchandise and games across park locations. You will supervise seasonal managers and staff, drive sales, monitor inventory, and ensure exceptional guest service with a focus on continuous improvement.

The role requires 3–5 years in large-scale retail operations, preferably in an amusement park environment. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is expected, with benefits and employee events provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in large-scale retail operations management.
• Amusement park or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a mandatory drug test where required.
• Ability to pass background checks per policy.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Knowledge of labor laws and basic accounting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, coordinating and implementing retail operations across the Park.
• Supervise seasonal staff, including scheduling, reviews and development.
• Maintain high retail standards; oversee visual merchandising and product programs.
• Plan budgets and monitor labor, revenue and inventory to meet goals.
• Develop pricing strategies; monitor sales performance and promotions.
• Communicate with Park managers and staff; prepare performance reviews and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, policy, and guest-service standards.
