Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking an Operations Manager to lead an assigned location, guiding daily operations to meet annual business plans and contractual obligations. You will oversee on-time performance, driver availability, call center functions, and customer relations while mentoring staff and ensuring safety compliance.

The role requires coordinating with location teams, auditing processes, and maintaining strong communication with clients to exceed expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of managerial experience in a paratransit environment.
• Scheduling and personnel management/training experience.
• Ability to work independently with strong written and verbal skills.
• Knowledge of contractual obligations.
• Knowledge of company policy and driver activity measurement.
• Trapeze experience preferred.
• Experience managing a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage on-time performance and driver availability.
• Effectively manage all call center functions.
• Effectively manage customer relations through direct contact and outreach programs.
• Identify, select, train and mentor location staff.
• Communicate with location staff and support teams.
• Oversee safety and training programs to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Maintain safety culture within the division.
• Maintain client contact to meet or exceed expectations.
• Assist with departmental audits.
• Review key operational metrics daily, weekly and monthly.
• Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Participate in labor and employee relations activities.
