Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking an Operations Manager at our White Plains location in Maryland to lead daily operations and deliver annual business plans. You will oversee on-time performance, driver availability, call center operations and customer relations, while ensuring compliance with policies and contractual obligations.

The role requires 1–3 years of management experience in paratransit or similar settings, strong written and verbal skills, and the ability to mentor staff.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of management experience in paratransit or similarly sized operation.
• Experience in scheduling and personnel management and training.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Knowledge of contractual obligations relevant to the role.
• Familiarity with Trapeze software preferred.
• Experience managing fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage on-time performance and driver availability.
• Manage all call center functions.
• Manage customer relations through direct contact and outreach programs.
• Identify, select, train and mentor location staff.
• Communicate with location staff and support team members.
• Oversee safety and training programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain client contact to meet or exceed expectations.
• Conduct periodic departmental audits.
• Review operational metrics daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Participate in location labor and employee relations activities.
