Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Customer Service Specialist for our Marion, IN location. The role involves helping wholesale and retail customers, answering questions about products, tinting and mixing to spec, and processing sales while meeting store goals.

A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 70 lbs are required; evenings and weekends may be necessary. The starting pay is $16 per hour for a full-time position, with duties spanning both customer care and sales support in a retail

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and follow store policies; achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain precise work order files and stock from shelves/warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications; stock shelves and displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable conditions in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss options; follow inventory procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
