Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals LLC is seeking a Pain Territory Business Manager to build and sustain professional relationships with HCPs, promoting JOURNAVX in a field-based role. Qualifications

• 5+ years in biotech sales
• Product launch experience in acute pain
• Experience engaging with retail pharmacies for stocking and pull-through
• Experience pulling inpatient formularies, protocols, pathways, and order sets
• Understanding geography-based patient treatment, referrals, and influence networks
• Proficient with Veeva CRM and other IT tools
• Experience in a highly matrixed environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with assigned physicians to drive adoption of JOURNAVX
• Develop expertise on product attributes and educate HCPs on appropriate use
• Understand territory dynamics, stakeholder mapping, access, and barriers
• Create and execute strategic territory business plans to identify growth opportunities
• Drive sales, forecast accuracy, and meet budget expectations
• Collaborate with PTAMs, field medical, HEOR, IDN and payer teams to align plans
• Model ethics and integrity in line with compliance and trust-building
