Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Packer to maintain production lines and ensure packaging meets specifications. The role includes rotating tasks across packaging, sealing, boxing, palletizing, and operating pallet jacks.

You will input data in the ERP system and adhere to SQF, GMP, HACCP, OSHA safety standards. Expect stand‑up shifts and potential weekend work. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in food manufacturing, basic math and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Grade School level; High School Diploma/GED a plus.
• 1–2 years’ experience operating or working with food manufacturing machinery equipment or similar experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience following work task specifications, SOPs, recipes, etc.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery and perform manual packaging tasks.
• Seal products, box products, and palletize for shipment.
• Move materials using pallet jacks; transport to other locations as needed.
• Perform visual product inspections and report issues promptly.
• Access product specifications from ERP system and enter data into the system.
• Ensure safety and food safety standards are followed during all tasks.
• Contribute to safety initiatives and maintain clean, organized workstations.
