Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Packer to maintain production lines, perform packaging tasks, and ensure product specifications are met.

The role involves rotations across packaging tasks, data entry in the ERP system, and strict adherence to safety and food safety standards. The candidate should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work on foot for long periods, and operate pallet jacks as needed. Strong communication, basic math, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with

Qualifications

• Grade School level; High School Diploma/GED a plus.
• 1–2 years’ experience operating or working with food manufacturing machinery equipment or similar experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience following work task specifications, SOP’s, recipes, etc.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment including Auto Baggers, Ilapak and pallet jacks.
• Maintain the work area clean and organized per housekeeping policy.
• Enter production information into the ERP system and Machine Log, ensure downtime is logged.
• Support QA activities such as pH verification and line quality checks.
• Follow SQF, GMP, HACCP and OSHA safety and food safety requirements.
• Rotate across lines and meet productivity targets within safety guidelines.
