C.H. Guenther & Son is hiring a Packer to keep packaging lines running smoothly and ensure products meet specifications. The role covers a rotation of manual packaging, sealing, boxing, and palletizing, with data entry in the ERP system and strict adherence to SQF, GMP, HACCP, and OSHA standards.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with flexibility, including weekends. Strong communication, math and problem-solving skills are required, plus prior experience in food

Qualifications

• Grade School level; High School Diploma/ GED a plus.
• 1-2 years’ experience operating or working with food manufacturing machinery equipment or similar experience.
• 1-2 years’ experience following work task specifications, SOPs, recipes, etc.
• Proficient in verbal and written communications; basic math and calculator use.

Responsabilités

• Maintain production lines, rotate tasks across packaging, sealing, boxing, and palletizing.
• Enter data into ERP system; monitor product specs and weights; report issues.
• Operate Auto Baggers, Ilapak, and related equipment; complete line changeovers.
• Pack tortillas, inspect product quality, and support QA programs (pH, metal detection).
• Comply with SQF, GMP, HACCP, OSHA and safety policies; maintain clean workstations.
