Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Packer to maintain efficient production lines and ensure product is packaged per specifications. The role includes rotating between packaging tasks, operating bagging equipment, and data entry into the ERP system.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years in food manufacturing, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Safety and SQF compliance are essential components of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in basic math and calculator use.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good organizational skills and reliability.
• Able to work in a team and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate Auto Baggers, Ilapak, and automated packaging equipment.
• Enter production data into the ERP system and Machine Log (TGI).
• Perform line rotations and assist in other lines as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized workstations per SQF guidelines.
• Assist in QA activities such as pH checks and metal detection as required.
• Meet productivity goals by following the production schedule.
