Job summary

Amcor Flexibles North America Inc. is seeking a Technical Service Representative II for the Boston area.

You will provide expert technical assistance on packaging equipment, perform audits, and help improve film and shrink bag performance across customer sites within the Northeastern US. The role requires a technical degree and 5+ years in packaging engineering/technical service, with strong problem solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in packaging or engineering related to packaging.
• 5 years of experience in engineering or technical service related to food packaging materials and machinery.
• 5 years of experience servicing packaging equipment, including at least 7 of the listed equipment types.
• 5 years of experience solving technical issues with film and bag production across specified technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and timely technical assistance to assigned customers in matters relating to packaging equipment operations.
• Service customer equipment to maintain optimum performance of equipment, packaging films and shrink bag materials.
• Perform audits on packaging machines and participate in field trials of new packaging materials.
• Assist in installation and start-up of packaging equipment and train customers on operation and maintenance.
