Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Technical Service Representative III to provide expert technical support for packaging equipment operations. The role requires extensive travel across the Northeastern US and within a 50-mile radius of Boston, with additional travel across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging or related engineering with 5 years of experience in the food packaging industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and timely technical assistance to customers relating to packaging equipment operations.
• Service customer equipment to maintain optimum performance of packaging films and shrink bag materials.
• Perform and complete package/shrink bag and machine audits.
• Identify machinery and packaging film/shrink bag problems and communicate to the appropriate staff.
• Assist in installation and start-up of packaging equipment and provide input on design and start-up of equipment from outside suppliers.
• Train customers on proper operation and maintenance of equipment and Amcor film.

Education
