Amcor is hiring a Field Service Engineer to support customers at their sites, focusing on filling lines, labeling and automation applications. You will perform preventative maintenance, lead repairs, and train customer staff while coordinating with sales and product groups.

The role blends hands-on fieldwork with office tasks, requiring strong mechanical skills, problem solving, and the ability to work independently with customers and plants.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing or Engineering preferred.
• 2–5 years of related work experience required.
• Travel typically 75%.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills required.
• General electrical knowledge helpful.
• Experience with filling lines and plastics industry desired.

Responsibilities

• Represent Amcor at customer sites and maintain equipment.
• Lead preventative maintenance on Amcor equipment.
• Investigate issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Communicate opportunities to plant and corporate levels.
• Support field trials of Amcor packaging.
• Train customer staff on product use and testing methods.
• Document visits and data in trip reports.
