Amcor is seeking a Field Service Engineer to serve as the technical contact at customer sites, supporting filling lines, labeling and automation applications. The role blends hands-on field work with office tasks and requires frequent travel to customer plants to ensure performance and quality of Amcor packaging solutions.

You will lead maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, conduct field trials, train customer staff, and coordinate with vendors.

Competenze

• A manufacturing or engineering degree is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
• Electrical systems knowledge expected.
• Experience with filling lines and equipment preferred.
• Plastics industry experience desirable.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently with customers and teams using data-driven methods.

Mansioni

• Maintain customer equipment and perform periodic preventative maintenance.
• Lead assembly and preventative maintenance of Amcor equipment.
• Assess condition of customer-owned equipment and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Assist with customer problems and communicate opportunities to plant/corporate levels.
• Support field trials of Amcor packaging.
• Train customer employees on proper product use and testing methods.
• Collect data and samples related to customer issues or out-of-spec products.
• Lead root-cause investigations to resolve issues.
• Validate package performance at the customer site.
• Coordinate with outside vendors on quotes, design, and scheduling.
• Perform follow-up actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Complete trip reports documenting visits and resolutions.
