Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customer locations with filling lines, labeling, and automation applications. The role blends hands-on technical work with office tasks, travelling to sites as needed.

You will lead maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and train customer personnel while collaborating with Sales, Plant Quality, and Product Development teams. A manufacturing/engineering degree and 2–5 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing or Engineering preferred.
• 2–5 years combined education or related work experience required.
• 75% travel required.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills; basic electrical knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Amcor’s technical contact at customer sites for filling lines, labeling and automation applications.
• Lead preventive maintenance and assembly of Amcor equipment.
• Investigate customer equipment issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Support field trials and training of customer personnel on product use and testing methods.
