Job summary

Amcor Flexibles North America Inc. seeks a Technical Service Representative III to deliver timely support for customers’ packaging equipment operations and performance improvements. You will service and audit equipment, assist in start-up, and train customers and colleagues on Amcor film and packaging systems.

The role involves significant travel, telecommuting within 50 miles of Boston and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging or an Engineering field related to packaging and 5+ years in engineering/technical service in food packaging.
• Experience with packaging machinery and films, including VFFS, HFFS, rotary and labeling machines.
• Strong collaborative work with Process Engineering, Quality, Production, Maintenance and Product Development teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers on packaging equipment operations and performance.
• Service and audit packaging machines and materials to maintain optimum performance.
• Assist in installation/start-up and training on Amcor equipment and materials.
